Whwn Gaming Character Gets Stuck Running Until I Hit Key Again

Strafe key getting "stuck" while playing
Hello all - I frequently see an issue where my strafe key gets "stuck" and my graphic symbol continues running to the side after I let up on the key. In the by I would have to log out and back in to fix the consequence (by holding down the opposite strafe key long enough to go out), merely I've constitute lately that if I quickly double tap the same strafe key information technology will "fix" the problem and my character will stop running.
What is causing this? I don't seem to accept this problem with whatsoever other programs, and I'yard now on my 2nd different keyboard that this is happening on (upgraded KB for unrelated reasons). Which leads me to believe that it is an interface problem with WoW. Has anyone else experienced this with their strafe key or any other key, and knows how to resolve it? Of note, I as well occasionally accept an issue where my "Esc" key stops functioning, and I have to use my mouse and the micro menu to log out and back in before it starts working again.

Same thing happens to me occasionally. Information technology's ordinarily alt central or shift key that gets "stuck" for me. I say "stuck" because zero actually gets stuck on my keyboard. I'thou not sure what causes it, but I gauge game reads that key is pressed and not released. It's only happened in WoW and so far, not in any other game.
Like yous said, just tap the fundamental that gets stuck and its fixed.

Had an intermittent result with a key getting stuck besides, and it has happened with at to the lowest degree ii different keyboards.

I could run across why you would say that, which is why I fabricated a point of saying that it's happened on two different keyboards, and the keys don't get stuck outside of WoW. It's definitely some kind of issue specific to this game. What's really weird virtually it, is that I noticed last nighttime that it happened to me several times in quick succession on one of my characters that I played for an hr or so. But didn't happen to me even once on my main the few hours I was raiding, and was making heavier use of my strafe keys. I retrieve I'1000 going to try temporarily remapping that cardinal and run across if it makes a difference. Update to follow! Originally Posted past Partysaurus Rex Sounds like your keyboard.

You tried two different keyboards ... in the same USB port? I've had this happen before and moving to a unlike USB port fixed information technology for me.

For me, using a Razer Naga and property shift+pushing something like 6 translates on the numpad to right directional button. Letting go of 6 earlier shift would crusade the action to proceed after releasing the button.
I just unbound the correct and left directional buttons all together.
Not certain if that helps..

Not in my case, as I don't own ane of those.
This is an outcome encountered in a single game, and with specific keys.
